Why can high water permeability be achieved?
Drainage from gravel gryke
In existent grating, water is discharged from steel grates.
However, that is not the case with Fine.
Gravel fixed with Fine Fiber (epoxide-based adhesive mixed with special fiber) is poured into steel or stainless grating frame.
The surface of groove cover looks solid. However, water flows into it.
And,it prevents flow of trash.Mud on it can be removed by putting water on it.
Closed construction provides premium accents and positive elements
Fixed genuine stones provide natural characters and premium accents.
Fine Grating closes lateral groove or catch basin almost to prevent emergence of wigglers or toxic Red-back spiders in water there.
Grating of thickness of 10 cm or more cannot be split.
When existent grating is passed by big-size cars, it may be split.
As Fine's grating has high strength by using steel grating in its frame, it cannot be split.
Use of genuine stones decreases slippage in walking.
And, as closed structure eliminates difference in level and provides barrier-free effect, high heels cannot get hung up.
Furthermore, coins or small products cannot be fallen in groove..

Feature of Fine's own Fine Drain
Fine Drain
is the combination of ACO Drain (Special polymer concrete lateral groove) and Fine Grating.
- Load capacity equivalent to traditional lateral groove
- Cheap price and portable weight
- Applicable to small space (about 100 mm groove width)
Fine achieved load capacity equivalent to traditional lateral groove!!
This capacity was achieved by combination of Fine Grating and ACO drain made of polymer concrete
(breakthrough material composed of polyester, aggregate and filler.
It has four times as high compressive strength as existent cement concretes).
Cheap price and portable weight
Weight of lateral groove and Fine Drain is portable, which enables man-powered construction.
Therefore, existing time and effort are saved and cost performance is improved.
Application to small space (about 100 mm) as well as large space
Construction in small space (about 100 mm groove width) is possible.
The deep groove type also solves the problem of large drainage volume.
Existent grating can be replaced with Fine's one easily.
